While the exterior shots for 30 Rock are filmed at the plaza, apparently most of the interior shots are done at Silvercup Studios in Queens.

This is the address of 30 Rock character Liz Lemon (Tina Fey). I'm watching the one where she tries to scare her upstairs neighbor out of his apartment. This show is great.
paul’s boutique

The cover of the breakthrough album "Paul's Boutique" by the Beastie Boys was taken outside of this location in 1989.
Couple of quick facts:
1. This location was a restaurant called the Three Monkeys when it caught ablaze on Jan. 20, 2011.
2. At one point it was a restaurant named "Paul's Boutique" (well after the album came out).
3. When the cover photo for the album was taken, the Paul's Boutique sign was added to the current exterior of the existing junk shops.
4. This album still rules.
